Traditions

If the people of the New Dawn is proud of anything its their traditions, going against them is nearly as bad as breaking one of the three laws. Traditions of other cultures are usually considered barbaric unless they are somewhat similar to those that the House has.

Ancestors

While it is believed that the soul and body is lost when a person dies the memory of the person is said to pass to the "other side" where it joins
the others and becomes one of the ancestors. It is also believed that one can reach the ancestors and talk with them, this is done through meditation and doing so at the place where the person died is said to give the best results.

Daylight Savings

This holiday is celebrated by trying to restore balance as much as you can that day but it is also a sort of new years eve for the people of the New Dawn as half the year, the darker part one worships the god Damak and during the lighter, the god Dyma. Usually some festive activities are held in the evening where stories of the siblings are told.

Death penalty

In the event that a member of the New Dawn has been sentenced to die by a Dorini or Dathanar the punishment is always decapitation, with the head taken away from the body it is believed that when the person pass over to the other side to be judged by the ancestors he or she will do so blind as he or she is not worthy of looking upon them.

Funeral of fire

According to its religion the New Dawn burn their dead on funeral pyres that they may "return". The religion states that all creatures have borrowed their body from the mass that is Damak and their soul from the energy that is Dyma, upon dying and burning the body and soul is returned. Burying dead or other ceremonies that exist throughout Hyboria are considered extremely barbaric and even sinful.

It happens at times that members of the New Dawn will dig up graves and burn the corpses.

Sacred Secrets

The New Dawn is often very secretive about its ways, feeling like it has achieved a sort of "truth" or how you should live during their long long years without much contact with the outside other than being hired to carry out missions which only confirms their believes in themselves. Therefor members of the New Dawn doesn't speak openly about their culture unless of course it is in order to recruit new members into its ranks.
